Prof. Andrew Whitehead On Christian Nationalism

Andrew Whitehead, Professor of Sociology at IUPUI and Director of the Association of Religion Data Archives at the Center for the Study of Religion and American Culture, will speak about how Christian Nationalism is incompatible with the Gospel.

Prof. Whitehead’s most recent book, “American Idolatry: How Christian Nationalism Betrays the Gospel and Threatens the Church,” addresses how power, fear, and violence have corrupted Christianity in America.

A light supper will be available at 6 p.m. with advance registration. A freewill offering to offset food costs is greatly appreciated. Space is limited for supper.
